Big projects with local involvement

The InsiteSJC survey team is busy with some of those big projects Bundaberg has been awaiting. It is pleasing to see some on-ground progress after listening to promises about commencement dates for such a long time.

The most noticeable project activity is apparent when driving along the Ring Road—the bundles of gas pipes. More recently they have been laid out for joint welding.

InsiteSJC is involved with surveys for design, construction set-out, and as-constructed pick-up of the gas pipeline. Excavation and laying the gas pipeline are due to start very soon.

The groundwork for the Knauf plasterboard factory construction at the Port is also underway. InsiteSJC has been involved in property boundary surveys and engineering surveys during the planning stages and is now preparing for piling set-out.
Finally, we are also working with Downer on the Rubyanna wastewater treatment plant project and with Oasis Construction on the Multiplex building at the old showground.

InsiteSJC is proud to employ local people working on projects of such significance to the people of the Bundaberg region. Initiatives that employ locals help ‘plug the leaks’ in the local economy. Investing in local businesses avoids leakage that damages our region’s economy and prosperity, and instead builds Bundaberg’s prosperity. We should all be grateful for local opportunities!
